STEPS - Showcasing the Endless Possibilities of Scarborough

On Friday May 11th, 2007, at the Student Centre of Centennial College, youth from across Scarborough came together in Showcasing the Endless Possibilities of Scarborough to make a positive statement about what Scarborough is really all about.

With a focus on youth empowerment and inspiration, STEPS is the movement to highlight the real view of what Scarborough presently possesses, and what the future can bring. This was a truly remarkable opportunity for youth, service providers, community members and business owners to come together in planning and participating in the event. 

Building on the success of the first STEPS event in 2006, this year's STEPS showed how Scarborough youth, through creative self-expression, can and are using entertainment, the arts, literature, and media as a means to promote a safer community.

Indeed....the possibilities are endless....and we gladly welcome any support you could offer in making the next community event a success!!
