As part of TVOntario, the Independent Learning Centre (ILC) provides a wide range of distance education courses, in English and in French, for Ontario residents who want to earn Ministry of Education high school diploma credits, upgrade basic skills, or study for personal development. In addition, the ILC is home to Ask A Teacher, a free online homework help site where students can get one-on-one homework help from certified teachers, five nights a week. In addition, CareerMATTERS provides fantastic information for youth researching possible careers. The ILC also provides GED testing for those who have left high school before completion and would like to earn their Equivalency certificate now as adults.

TVO airs a show Sundays at 6pm called VOX Talk. It features teens at high schools around the province discussing various topics: Girls and Aggression, Body Modification, Censorship, Obsesity and Fad Diets, the Impact of Technology on Teens, Immigrant Teens, Faith, etc. A show on Gun Violence will air this Sunday Oct 2. It's a great show for youth.
